Capt. Sohail Mahbub Bhuyain is a Class 1, Master Mariner. He is a Graduate of sixteenth batch of Bangladesh Marine Academy. He was entitled to Master Mariner from UK. His seafaring career ranges from Container vessel, Bulker to Tanker. Currently located in Singapore, he has extensive exposure in Bareboat Hire Purchase, New building, daily ship commercial and spot cargo outsourcing around the world.

He worked at sea till 1995 since starting in 1979. Later he became an entrepreneur in the shipping industry and has become successful both as ship owner and in shipping agency and services.

He is very active in the chartering market. He is involved with many initiatives commercial and non- commercial.

His seafaring career ranges from Container vessel to Bulker. Capt Quamruddin has wide experience in spot cargo trade to and from Yangon for almost two decades. He has the captive market of rice, log and pulses in Myanmar.

Capt. Quamruddin Ahmed is highly influential and has a strong presence in Myanmar. His office in Myanmar deals with at least 10-15 export vessels and 5-10 import vessels per month. He represents most of the rice/log/pulse exporters of Myanmar internationally.
